Full Job Description
Performs a variety of warehousing duties. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, segregating or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; removing material from storage and preparing it for stocking. May operate hand or power trucks; forklift in performing warehousing duties.
Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Hourly pay rate is $12.99. This is a federal contract, as such employees receive a Health and Welfare (H & W) benefit in accordance with the Service Contract Act (SCA) per hour for the first 40 hours in a week. The current H & W rate at this location is $3.25, which is contributed to the union. In addition employees are paid $2.25 per compensable hour on their checks.
