Image Processing Engineer-Senior – Strategic Alliance Consulting, Inc – Springfield, VA

Strategic ACI is seeking a Senior Image Processing Engineer. You will be on a team providing technical and subject matter expertise support to NGA Research for existing and planned R&D programs, market research of emerging and existing state of the art technologies, acquisition of new capabilities, organizational management including business process and communications, and support to technology transfer and transition.

Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of imaging systems for the creation, processing, and optimization of images and/or video.
• Apply knowledge of remote sensing, digital processing, physics, and human visual perception to understand image characteristics, contribute to software/algorithm development and/or trade studies.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree, or PhD in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or related disciplines. Government or military training or education may be substituted for degree.
• Greater than or equal to 15 years of work experience in a relevant field (including relevant government or military experience).
