Job Summary

An exciting opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated automotive marketers, working with some of the largest Tier 3 brands in the nation. Looking for a passionate, self-starter and marketing professional with a great track record in cultivating and nurturing influential client relationships with corporate stakeholders of, large dealer ownership groups, OEM brand marketing strategists, and Tier 3 agencies. Lead efforts in leveraging Comcast data and technology in the video marketplace to develop solutions to reach audiences that align to client objectives. You will establish partnerships with internal sales development teams to construct measurable and seamless client experiences, be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our sales force to maximize regional and national sales and oversee operational execution to ensure overall sales volume increases through business development efforts .

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Evangelize through proof of performance the value of Comcast Advertising solutions and forge partnerships with automotive strategy leaders to uncover innovative opportunities of what is possible in the TV/video space when partnering with one of the largest tech companies in the world.
  • Keep abreast of automotive industry news, media trends, and monitor the market as well competitors’ product and service offerings.
  • Willingness and availability to travel based on business needs.
  • Ensures overall ad sales volume increase through business development activity, identifying new opportunities in the market and converting them into actionable department strategies.
  • Develops Ad Sales Business Development goals and objectives, ensuring goals and objectives are met through monitoring department and individual work performance.
  • Performs budgeting responsibilities that may include developing the budget and monitoring department spending.
  • Provides product and technical expertise to assist teams and personnel in developing strategies to increase ad sales volume. Consults with management and clients on an as-needed basis to develop advertising packages to fit a clients’ needs and challenges.
  • Keeps abreast of current television and cable programming and their respective ratings performance.
  • Monitors the market as well competitors’ new or changing product and service offerings.
  • Provides access to training and development programs, classes and conferences.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Experience in Automotive Advertising (Sales, Brand Strategy, Marketing)

  • Demonstrated understanding of Automotive across multiple Tiers

  • Well versed in the Automotive & Media Landscape across multiple platforms including digital
  • Business Development experience (lead development, partnering with sales, negotiations)
  • Proven experience using data and measurement to influence strategy and decision making at senior levels both internally and externally
