Job Summary

The Athletic Trainer’s main focus will be to provide Athletic Training services to student-athletes, conduct administrative tasks, and supervise athletic training students in a clinical setting. The incumbent will be responsible for providing rigorous therapeutic exercise and muscular skeletal manipulation for athletes of varying strength and conditioning.

The incumbent shall also know, recognize and comply with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing University and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) and the applicable Conference, as now constituted or as they may be amended during the Term of this agreement. The Employee shall take all reasonable steps to endeavor to ensure that all other employees for whom Employee is administratively responsible, comply with aforesaid policies, rules, and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin

Preferred Qualifications

Preference for candidates who have:
  • Master’s Degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience at the collegiate level
  • Demonstrated experience with managing a secondary athletic insurance program
